It’s easy to see why food lovers go ga-ga when it comes to game.
Our lives have become so conventional, so orderly and refined, so bleeding homogeneous. From the way we dress to the food we eat. So it comes as no surprise that when given the opportunity to return to our roots we get a little bit excited.
Game meats represent an opportunity to get our chops around a little bit of the wild stuff. Fuller, bolder flavours reminiscent of when we were, perhaps, a little bolder ourselves, a little more in touch with our own feral side.
Unfortunately this will not be a fireside gnaw-fest as that maybe a little too feral for our coddled countenance. Instead we will rekindle an internal fire with a menu of game meats, some wild shot, including kangaroo, guinea fowl, hare, venison and wild boar. And, *|FNAME|*, to ensure we allow the wild side as much latitude as possible we will remove inhibitions further with a thirst-slaking collection of matching wines.
The rest, of course, is up to you and your own wild side.
Please note this is a hosted shared-table event starting at 7pm sharp.
